I can not tell you how many times I was asked by a candidate, when working with a recruiter is to reduce his salary. Even if savings are important, any company that chooses the candidate solely on the basis of wages is not a business you would like to work. Honestly, if a company actually choose a candidate at the cost of setting limits to save or be offered to the candidate with greater impunity, you feel confident about the company’s strategy and vision for the future?
Recruitment and the boarding of talent right takes time, networks and know-how. Some companies outsource HR and / or the setting of functions, some of them are in-house – yet there is a cost associated, and budgeted for this purpose.
So sure the company is not want to work for you to go through a short external recruiters. And you can buy a coffee, Sally, when you start your new job. Heck, send your recruiter a voucher and chocolate. Enjoy your new job!
